THE PERFECT BOYFRIEND JEANS

I rarely wear jeans, but when I do, more than likely they belong to someone in my household, my husband. Lol. It has always been hard for me to find reasonable jeans that fit the way I would want them to and the stores that might have jeans that would fit me, aren’t retailers I would normally shop with. I've become very selective about where I spend my money. I don’t mind splurging on a pair of jeans, it’s just that I’m a mom of two now, so I have to be mindful of my spending habits. I have a desire for quality products, things that will last. I’m not 18 years old anymore, I can’t just buy things that won’t survive at least two wash cycles. Plus, this is my way of contributing to the environment. When I do splurge on jeans one of my favorite brands is Joe's Jeans, they have the perfect stretch to fit my booty and length. I love this brand, but they have a classic aesthetic. All their jeans look the same, I wish they would push the creativity a little and create jeans that are more stylish and on-trend. As a brand myself, I get why they might want to stick to their aesthetic and market they currently have. It's working for them! 

I like to be on trend with certain staple pieces from in closet, so borrowing jeans from my husband’s side of the closet just work out so much better for me, I’m not worried about finding the perfect jeans. His jeans are stylish, the fit is perfectly fine, it’s just the way I want it to and I’m not spending extra money on jeans that aren’t satisfying to my figure. The cool thing about boyfriend jeans is that when wearing them, I don’t care how my butt looks in them, nor do I care how well they fit around my thighs, all I care about is how well they complete my outfit. The last time I wore my boyfriend jeans and made a post about it, my husband was really my boyfriend and we had one kid. Now, here I am two kids later and I’m still stealing his jeans. This is a complete win!

The best boyfriend jeans are the ones I can find on my husband’s side of the closet, simply because I’d rather not shop for jeans at all. If I could walk around in a gown all day I would. Why shop for jeans when my husband has plenty, that I’m so obsessed with and always have access to. This particular pair is from Hyper Denim. These jeans have so many cool features; five-pocket YKK zippers on the side ankles, belt loops with D-ring, destroyed details with ripped knees, and a skinny tapered leg silhouette that I absolutely love. They cost about $70 and they are definitely worth splurging on, if this is your style. He gets most of his jeans from Zara, H&M and other high-end brands I can’t even pronounce. I might not be able to pronounce them, but I sure can pair them with a pair of shoes from my wonderful shoe collection, because I have plenty. Here's to me making his jeans look cool and stylish. Lol!
