I absolutely love these Geo floral pixie skinny ankle pants from Old Navy! They are navy blue with floral prints. I thought pairing them with my fitted polka dot top from Forever 21, blue platform heels and Justfab clutch would do the pixie pants so much justice. What are your thoughts?
I also love how Kendi over at Kendi Everyday styled them.
What are your favorite prints to mix?

To tell you the truth, I have never mixed prints. I should though because I love the 2 prints you put together.
ReplyDeleteI have a cute black and white polka dot scoop tee-shirt from Old Navy that I've had a preference for lately. I wear it with leggings and my metal belt of conjoined circles. Very nice style concept!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the printed pants instead of just jeans. I think she could were a printed t-shirt with those too. Cute ideas!
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a print mixer either. Dull, boring, bland and simple are my go-to's hahaha. I know, that's like taking the easy way out but I'm so lazy when it comes to fashion. Well, except when I'm wearing Punjabi suits. They do all the work for you and everything is sold in matched sets. So I'm still cheating.
ReplyDeleteI really don't mix prints at all. I'm such a classic girl :-)
ReplyDeleteI love to mix flower prints with stripes.
ReplyDeleteMy wife does not mix the 2 together, but they really seem to work.. Nice look!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I need to update my wardrobe so bad and these are some great ideas. I am usually so conservative but these make me want to change my mind. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI always have trouble mixing patterns successfully.
ReplyDeleteI always have trouble mixing patterns successfully.
ReplyDeleteI once wore a striped top with plaid scarf. It turned out super ok :)
ReplyDeleteI am not big on mixing prints with clothing but have mixed within my home decor. I can't seem to get over the perfect fashion look, which holds me back from mixing prints.
ReplyDeleteI really like polka dots too but I generally wear them with solid prints since it is more slimming, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI am such a fashion coward I don't think I've ever attempted to mix a print. Unless you count purses, then it's florals and polka-dots.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE mixing prints!!! Leopard and stripes is my new fave next to floral and polka dots!
ReplyDeleteI've always been too chicken to mix prints, but this post is giving me some ideas I want to try :)
ReplyDeleteOh i love this look!! Loving the style! I'm not so good at mixing prints but this one just gave me an idea ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think that outfit is super cute! Wish I could pull it off, but not at this age. :)
ReplyDeleteLove these trousers, just wish my backside and legs would suit them. Also like clashing patterns, but generally on others - they just feel wrong on me!
ReplyDeleteI have to be completely honest - my mother always told me that mixing prints was wrong, so it's kind of ingrained in my head not to mix them.
ReplyDeleteI'm not good at mixing patterns. I'm just barely adventuring out into prints myself the last few months. But I am not brave enough to mix them yet. I've been a solid color girl for YEARS. So still adjusting to prints. lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for most patterns because they're just too busy so I don't really mix them. I do like the color combination you have there.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! Those pants are totally my style, and they look great with that outfit.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I wouldn't know as I'm a t-shirt/jeans kind of gal.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I am only just starting to use patterns - I was such a plain person before hand :) x
ReplyDelete*LOVE* mixing prints! It's just so fun, and can be an energizing start to my day. Those blue shoes are so cute.
ReplyDeleteI like to mix solids with plaids. I especially like to mix them when it comes to my daughters fashion.
ReplyDeleteMost of my clothing is running clothing so I never really have patterns. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!
ReplyDeleteIm not daring to mix prints. lol. I should get more adventureous. I love those outfits too!
ReplyDeleteThis us a sucker cute outfit. I love playing with patterns and then a shot of color like the blue shoes. Just my style
ReplyDeleteI think they make a good match plus the white and black combo is just classic.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute outfit. I have mixed dots and stripes because the pants were dots w/a striped cumberbund. It was cute. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so cute. I don't have to talent to put different patterns together without looking like a weirdo. Amber N.
ReplyDeleteTHat outfit does look cute but I never mix prints. I guess I am boring with my outfits
ReplyDeleteI really likes the way you played with the patterns. It looks great! I like flowers and stripes.
ReplyDeleteA nice variety of prints can be nice but I prefer small prints with a coordinating solid.
ReplyDeleteIt's cool because those pants look like polka dots too!
ReplyDeleteThose pants are just adorable. I wish I could wear them but I know they wouldn't look good on me.
ReplyDeleteI totally dig polka's - love it!
ReplyDeleteI really haven't tried to mix patterns like that. I'm totally inspired now though.
ReplyDeleteThose heels and polka are just to die for!
ReplyDeleteDrooling here over your idea! I want to step out of my comfort zone and mix more. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love mixing stripes and polka dots…or flowers and plaids. I don't know if I do it "correctly" or not, though LOL
ReplyDeleteI love to mix all kinds of print - buttom line is, they've to work for me. :-)
