“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome."

― Anne Bradstreet
Hey Everyone,
Happy Monday!

Are you just as tired of winter as I am? The weather was beautiful this weekend. Spring is officially in the air and right on time. Those of you that have been following my blog know that I have been struggling with the crisp quality of my photos. Well, the struggle is OVER. Lol, I am so pleased and I no longer regret purchasing the Nikon D3200 (well it was a Christmas gift from the hubby). The 18-55 Vr kit lens is a great lens, but not for me. I have to admit I am a rookie! When using my tripod to capture pictures of myself; I would get the worst quality pictures ever. I did have a few good days here, here and here. I was able to capture great shots of my son here using my kit lens.

I was determined and ready to test out my new lens. That's right, I recently purchased the 50mm 1.8 lensIt was very windy out my hair was all over the place. I knew I would be able to control my hair if I stood in the direction the wind was blowing. I thought with the help of the wind I would capture great gone with the wind fabulous pictures. Lol! I didn't let the wind stop me it was a plus. When I realized the battery in my remote died. I wanted to scream! I became frustrated! I was tempted to throw the remote and kick the tripod over. Not really! But I literally wanted to give up! I had a major (insert bad word) moment.

I decided the show must go on!
My mission was to test out my new lens (50mm 1.8 lens). I didn't give in to mother nature and all that went wrong. To my surprise the pictures came out beautiful. It has never been this difficult to choose 3 pictures to post on my blog. So here I am sharing my top 5, a lot I know. But, I couldn't keep them to myself, I couldn't just take all these great pictures and not share them. It's what I have been working for and researching all winter. Since then it has been hard to put my camera down.

  26. I am just getting winter, we moved from Florida to Idaho and well now I get to see what Winter is all about so no I am not sick of it yet! Your photos are coming out great, the big issue I have with a tripod is finding a way to line it up to get what I want in the photo when I do self photographs.
