“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.”
- Norman Vincent Peale
Hi Everyone,
Soooooooooooooo............. that's a lot of O's! No guys seriously I am so excited. (I'm always excited aren't I) My pictures don't always come out this clear. I have a great camera and I am determined to learn how to use it. Why not just take a class you might ask. Because, I don't want to be a photographer. I just want to take beautiful pictures of myself. If they offer classes for this purpose please by all means leave the information below in the comment box. I use a tripod to take my pictures and they don't always come out great. I sometimes have to take 50-100 pictures just to find 3-4 that might like. I see so many bloggers that use a tripod that capture some amazing images. I really wish I had a personal Photographer. (I like to dream big..lol) How cool would that be? I guess I will have to master the art of basic self-photography.
Moving right along I found this cheat sheet online for the Nikon D3200 and I find that the quality of my pictures did improve. Don't you agree?
Ok, they are not that great! Trust me they will be soon. I have faith in myself and my camera.
On another note, I am loving my outfit of the day. Easy, breezy, and super comfy!

Thank you so much dear!
DeleteIt's hard to learn to use a camera. I'm still working on it, lol. Half the time I think the photos are going to look great, then I pull them off my camera and 95% of them look awful, lol.
ReplyDeleteI agree! This is exactly why I try to capture at least 50-100 hoping to get 3 decent ones.
DeleteYour outfit looks great and really suits you as for tips not from me i am useless at taking pics and i only use my phone lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kay!
Delete1. You look awesome!! 2. I have no photography tips for ya (sorry). I had a huge Nikon camera and actually downgraded to a point & shoot because I was sick of lugging the big heavy camera with me.
ReplyDeleteAhh! I know the feeling. Thank you so much!
DeleteYou did a really good job with the above photo! I can't take a picture to save my soul. I do love your outfit it looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit! As for the picture taking- practice makes perfect, so just keep trying at it. A Tri-Pod helps a great deal, so it's good that you have one.
ReplyDeletenice jogger!

ReplyDeleteYour photos look great to me! :) Nice outfit, as well!
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask what that Sweat suit was made of... then I read Faux Leather. Well that is really a cool outfit and you look great in it.

Great photos. I wish I had some tips to offer but I am not too good at photography myself. I do like the sweat suit. It looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteI need some photography lessons! I will look for a cheat sheet for mine. Your outfit looks great.
ReplyDeleteYou look great and so are the pics. Unfortunately, I have no photo tips to offer you because I am not a good photographer.. I just barely passby lol by the way, I love that quote on the top by Norman Vincent Peale. He is one of my favorite spiritual author. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are rocking that outfit! I wish I could pull that off!
ReplyDeleteLove your new bangs! I'm trying to get better at photography too, but there is so much to learn.
ReplyDeleteThose are really good quality photos. I'm not a photographer, but I say you did a good job.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen fitness clothing that looked like that - I run a lot and never looked that good! Having your own camera man is not all it is cracked up to be, I have one and the photos are not great of course mine is my 17 year old son and I usually get photos of things I do not want but he is getting better!
ReplyDeleteThey look comfy ,you'll get better at pics. They were all good, just add a smile like you did in the last one :) You have a beautiful smile

i'm not tthe best photographer, but it looks like you get nice lighting and so these at least turned out nicely!
ReplyDeleteI know pretty much nothing about shooting pictures and actually use my iPhone for photos for my blog. Its probably time I figure out what I'm doing and change that! I think your photos look great! **said the lady that shoots pictures with her iPhone!
ReplyDeleteYour outfit looks real comfortable. I love the coat a lot!
ReplyDeleteWhat?? I really thought the pictures were taken by someone else. I need to invest in a tripod ASAP!! lol Love the bangs and the outfit looks amazing on you! Where were you heading looking so fly!? lol :P
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute and the outfit looks so comfortable!!
ReplyDeleteThe outfit and pictures look great! I just got a DSLR today and I have no idea how to use it, lol. I even had trouble figuring out auto mode! How sad is that?
ReplyDeleteGood for you Nicole, That is a great camera! How excited are you?
DeleteYour outfit looks so comfy...and warm! What lenses do you have for your camera. A 50mm or 40mm might give you better images and really nice bokeh in the background. The best thing is to play around with the settings to become familiar with the options to figure out what you like. Then it will all flow much easier down line, you'll automatically know exactly how to take your photos in different lighting & distances. Until then, does your camera have portrait or auto/learning mode?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Mina! The lens I am currently using is 18-55. Playing with the settings really did make a big difference. I have learned a few things since this post.
DeleteThis is a great look and I love the color. It looks comfortable yet stylish at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great look and I love the color. It looks comfortable yet stylish at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI'm really likely that jacket. As for camera tips, I think experimenting is always a good tip. Getting the right light is always a challenge but your on the right track
ReplyDeleteI love the way you assembled these garments to arrive at a classy trendsetting presentation. The Gamma's are a great touch! I recently did a review of the Gamma's on my men's fashion blog and made mention of the fact the first time I saw them a female was rocking them and doing justice. We'll you've did it again. I would love to include one of your photos (with your permission) in the post as an illustration of how the shoe is rocked with a fashion trendy ensemble. I'll send links to the blog via your blog contact mechanism.
ReplyDeleteHi Geo, I am totally ok with it. My only request is that you some how link it back to my blog. I am heading over to check out your post. Thank you so much for the compliment.
DeleteNo matter if some one searches for his essential thing, so he/she wants to be available that in detail, thus that thing is maintained
